Hello, my name is Darwin Edwards, I pen under the name Darwin Duckman. I live in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada. I have zero professional writing experience, and I have no formal training. I have been writing for as long as I can remember because I enjoy it. I never attempted to take my passion to the professional level because I wrote for me and not for anyone else, however I am now ready to share my imagination with the world. Don't let my lack of training or professional experience deter you from considering me for the writing position within your organization.

You will soon realize as you go through my portfolio that I am versatile, dedicated to my craft, hardworking and thorough. I am capable of working independently or in a team setting. I am able to cope with stressful environments and tight deadlines while creating strong pieces of work in a variety of formats.

Hello there, I want to be a professional writer because It's the only thing worth doing. I've reached that age where it's time to sit down and get to work. I have been a writer since I was able to write. I have always loved to make up my own stories rather then be an observer to someone else's with no control over how it plays out. I have always written just for me, I would build my worlds, create and grow my characters, and I would do all sorts of things with them and I would keep it all to myself for the most part. But now... I think I am ready to share my imagination with the world.

If you are reading this as a possible employer, please do not spend too much time judging the subject matter itself. Please take the time to read it and think about the amount of work that goes into the project. I will be writing new samples and posting them weekly.
